A lot of folks hsve successfully psinted their Rangers. Just make sure the auto-paint supplier knows you are appling paint to plastic and they will sell you the proper flex-additives.
Also, all of the custom colors from Polaris are painted. Good luck

Mike, with the plastic parts that i have had painted for me by a professional painter have been done something like this---
1. Fine sand the plastic to roughen it up.
2. Prep the plastic with a good plastic adhesion promoter.
3. Spray on paint, which usually has enough flex to it.
4. Finish with clear coat that has had flex additive added to it.
I was told paint can flex good as is, its the clear coat that needs it.

You can definitely paint plastic. The only down side is that sooner or later it will scratch. However, with the proper prep and application (hiatt65 described it perfectly) it will look good and last a long time. Good luck, Mike

Thanks everybody. We have decided not to paint the ranger (walker). We purchased some pretty sweet graphics. I am just not willing to make a mess out of our new toy. Thanks for all of the advice. Look for some up coming pics of the new graphics and wheels.
