This post got lost in the shuffle. Tested an 07 6x6 ranger last weekend in 20 degree weather running against the wind with stock ecu 5900 to 5950 rpms and a speed of 40 mph. Bolt on one performance ecu running against the wind 6100 to 6200 and a speed of 44 to 45 mph. I even had two buddies try it and they could not believe the diffrence. I will be testing on the 07 700 XP ranger this weekend and I will let you know what happens. If you have any questions call Dale at 715-294-4575 or email at [email protected]

Estimated price of the ecu at 399.00 for the 700 6x6 application. The 700 xp application will be tested this weekend and if works like the 6x6 application it will be awesome. When testing these applications we run about a 1000 feet at least 40 to 50 times testing diffrent combinations. All testing is done against the wind on gravel roads. If your curious why its done this way, is because if it can pull more rpm and mph in less then ideal conditions then it should work great for you. Dont we all run them in extreme conditions. Thanks Dale! [email protected]

That sounds like about the same rev increase as the SP ECU. I would like to see a comparison between your ECU and the SP ECU. If you can show us it performs better than the SP ECU you will be able to sell a lot of them. I also would like to see the rev limit raised about 500 RPMs over stock. That should improve the performance without getting into the danger zone.

I understand that, the clutches can be set to work at max horsepower, I just want the extra RPMs for that few extra MPH. If we were able to bring the RPM up I'm sure someone would develop a cam that would work at a higher RPM

I know everbody wants to here something regarding the performance ecu. I still have some fuel mapping issues to figure out, but in preliminary testing there is a pretty good performance increase. When I have something figured out I will post it for everybody to read. Thanks Dale!

Do you need any test subjects, I live in Az- and on one of the rides I go to close to home it starts out in the desert 1300 feet elev. and goes to nearly 5600 feet and back down.. it take 3-4 hours round trip. I could run to trips in 1 day.. Stock unit and your unit and give reall world feedback....
I have a 2006 6x6 700 efi.

let me know- Mark
