On the new ranger 900 what all performance upgrades have you done? Not really looking for exhaust but I am very interested in clutch kit, possibly a little motor work cam, injectors, etc.
Thanks

I know the internals have to be the same as the RZR 900 even though Polaris claims so many differences. Look at them they are the same engine. Someone will just have to do their homework to see what performance parts will cross over. I'd put money on being able to put RZR cams, high compression pistons, throttle body etc. in your Ranger 900 but then tuning your computer would require just as much homework.

Your right, there is a lot of power to be had. The 88 HP RZR 900 is the same engine, but the upper end is different. Everyone is focusing on power improvements for the RZRs. Theres not a lot of money to be made by the aftermarket companies on the Rangers, most go fast guys buy RZRs.The easy way out is to buy an RZR top end, but as ghostrrider6 mentioned, a reprogrammed RZR ECU is going to be the tough part. The pin connectors between an RZR and Ranger are different so you cannot just switch them. A programmer from someone like Power Commander wouldbe nice.
I went through all this with my 09 Ranger when the 800 was the big dog. I spent an incredible amount of money on it.

I think there's enough of us with these new 900's that someone out there will make some upgrades for them ! I hope !! It will take some time. We bought the 900 because we wanted more power than any other ranger out there :p I'm quite happy with mine, but I have noticed tonight that i've lost a bit of top speed from when brand new. I do believe it is from the belt wearing a bit. Maybe got a bit of moisture in the CVT vent from snow ?? Its only got 12 hrs on it i believe.
