I don't remember the exact measurments but seems like it is 29" from front to back then has a 6" turn down on the front and a 2" turn down on the back with both turn downs being 45 degree bends. I went to a sheet metal shop and had it built out of 1/8" aluminum deck plate. It has held up very well. It has taken some pretty good licks from trees and there isn't a heat problem with it either. I mounted mine with muffle clamps but instead of using the "U" bolts I squared the holes and used carrage bolts and it worked good. Now there isn't anything stick up above the roof. I also put a stip of foam insulation with the sticky backing around the top of the roll cage before mounting the roof.
Mine has a few battle scars from the last run at Wolf Pen Gap at Mena, Arkansas. but it held up well Bent a corner or two but nothing that can't be worked out.
