Had my first experiance with pin striping today. Also notice the front fender around the sticker and where the upper body panel meets the lower. BTW- the lighting does not due this paint job justice, it looks great.

Very nice, Neal. So, the pinstriping is vinyl then? I've never done that either. How did you do the part where the pinstripes intersect at that point on the fender (around the decal)? Does it overlap there? Or did you cut and fit the intersection? Just curious is all. It looks fantastic! I'm anxious to see it in person some day.

Oh sorry, I didn't explain well. Look at the first picture again, that is what comes on it. I only added the top pinstripe on the sticker. But if I would have done them all I would have definatley overlapped them as they are very thin. And yes, I would assume they are vinyl. Applying them is very tedeious, it took me several hours.

Oh okay....I get it now. I'd like to try my hand at that sometime. I assume the materials are not very expensive?.. So a guy could practice on something first? At motorcycle rallies, I've watched guys do both vinyl as well as hand-painting pinstripes on bikes. Some of those guys have incredible talent!

Very nice Neal! I had an '89 F150, Candy apple red, that I had a guy pinstripe on the upper part from front to back. He painted it on, with a very tiny brush, FREEHAND!!! It couldn't have been any straighter and I was amazed as I watched him. Had I tried that, it would have been crooked as a dog's hind leg!!
