The up and down function was not working (But the angle did work) so I found the relay (under hood) to repair the winch up/down function and bought a new one and it fixed that. Now the angle function on the stick will not work. Briefly reviewed fuses to repair this with no result (I also checked the relays for the angle under the hood with no luck as well). Anyone have this problem on their plow set up before? I'm wondering now if the relay I purchased was wrong and only gives me winch up/down and no angle. Thanks for any help.

Sounds like you are saying you have two different relays.

A relay is just supposed to open the circuit to the full amperage. If the angle relay isn't wired correctly, that could be the issue. Are both relays wired the same?

So the plow worked (all functions) during last storm - almost completed clearing snow and the winch would not retrieve (lift) plow blade but angle worked. I opened hood and the relay on the right unplugged in pic (there are 4 relays - 2 say tilt 2 say lift) was clicking. So I put a new one in and the winch worked but the angle did not.

Did you replace it with the exact same part number? If not you might have the wrong style. Ensure the new relay has terminals marked 30, 87a, 87, 85 and 86. If you dont have the 87a terminal i dont believe it will work properly.

interesting - my local polaris dealer gave the replacement part to me. It has same number of leads but the leads are shorter also no markings of the terminal numbers that exist on original relays

See on the side how theres a diagram? Does something like that exist for the replacement relay?
The replacement relay my dealer gave me does not have a diagram on the side like the original one did.. They are checking with Polaris to see if they can get the correct one. The 3 I bought I cant return - I took them out of pkg (no biggie)

How about the underside of the relay. I don’t believe i have ever seen one that didnt have some sort of terminal identification on it. Can you post a picture of that please?

Sorry for the delay was away sleddin....So pics requested are attached, the 2 relay's I bought the first time are in the pic with 2 shown and the original pary is depicted also. I did buy 2 of the correct ones now and it worked for about 1/2 hour and the up (winch) function died again yesterday , the angle still does not work. Had to leave my plow in the neighbors yard where it crapped out. This is getting expensive with these relays something else has to be wrong.
