i have exactly 21 miles on it and the seats are already ripping at the corners. passenger bottom and drivers backrest, you can clearly see what the issue is. the plastic pans are larger than the foam, and the corners are sharp. gonna pull them off and bring them in to the dealer.

i have some info, the dealer i bought the ranger from agreed with me 100%. either the pans are way to big or the foam pads are too small. they also agreed that replacing the covers will fix nothing. so we went and looked at some of the le models they had.lets say those seats will be coming back.

the corners are very sharp,it is a design flaw. polaris is sending new seats,if the pans are the same we are going to have a problem. as for using a dremel might work, but really ! it has less then 25 miles on it. they will take care of it one way or the other.i will let you all know when the new ones come in,my guess polaris knows about this issue.

Polaris obviously is super slow to respond to quality defects.

You'll have to take care of it yourself like myself and others have done. I used an air upholstery stapler and ground the trays smooth on a bench grinder. Took about 3 hours with also putting in heated seats at same time. Picking the old staples out carefully took the most time.

Just got word from my great dealer that Polaris approved new seats and they are on order!

I'm in business myself and after I have a problem I get it corrected before my customer's get mad I cost me money redoing or replacing parts. Its seems as if Polaris has all kinds of money and customer's isn't there major priority. I've got seat problems and they are sending me a new set.

This is my third Polaris and before I buy another one thing's will have to change.
If it wasn't for my good dealer, I wouldn't buy another one!!!!!!!!!!!!

Guys, I fixed my seats in just alittle over an hour, I know that we should't have to, but it beats replacing them every couple weeks. I simply removed the seat covers on each end, then took tin snips, and cut about 1/2 inch off the problem areas, then restapled the pad back on.

I know what you are saying and if my new seats isn't any different than my old seats, I will do the same. ( The only problem with that is if we fix these things and not let it be known what's wrong, will they ever correct the situation.)
