I have been debating on getting a Polaris Power Steering Kit for my Ranger 570 FS. This being said how do you guys rate the Super ATV kit compared to the Polaris branded version? I am assuming the Polaris kit is more of a plug and play where the Super ATV kit requires a little more "fitting" correct?

On my dash I have three blank switch locations which can be used for a variety of accessories. Does anything on the Polaris power steering kit fill any of these spots? I thought I saw one in a thread but cannot find it now. I am curious because I am planning my switch layout.

The Polaris brand is plug and play, it is also speed sensitive.
There is no switches for the power steering.

So no lights or anything for the Polaris kit needs to fill any of the blank spots on the panel? I just want to be positive because I am placing accessory switches in those spaces if not.

Ok, you have me second guessing myself. mine is still in the box in the shop.
If you do not get an exact answer from another member, I will double check tomorrow.

The Polaris part# 2879970 is for your 2015 Ranger 570.

No switches for the power steering.

I just got done putting the SuperATV kit on my 570 mid size this evening. I haven't gotten to put much ride time on it but it was cheaper than Polaris and it went on nice and easy. So far, I say go with SuperATV.

When you say nice and easy, does that mean you think most people would have little trouble installing themselves and second, how long should it take, on average?

There are a spot or 2 in the instructions that leave a little to be desired but the kit itself is truly designed to be as plug and play as possible.

Take your time disassembling the dash and removing the steering wheel so you don't damage any body tabs or the wheel. From that point on the removal of the stock steering shaft was very simple, although a little tedious.

Going back together the two smaller shafts they send you went on easy, the motor and brackets lined up with little to no struggling at all, and all of the plugs and wiring are very straight forward.

I'd say depending on skill level, this is a 3-6 hour install. I'm sure a pro could do it in less and someone with no mechanical experience at all could make it take longer but 3-6 hours is a fair average.
