Nice truck, Jack! If I get time, I'll post a couple of mine.

Could you please move this post down to the 'Trucks/trailers' section? Thanks

Here's a few of mine .........

1998 Volvo 610

Here's an interior shot ........

Some of the electronics .......

Rear shot ...........

Of the diesel generator .........

And the latest is with the wind generator ..........

I've also converted Her to a fully automatic 10 speed since the last set of pictures and have had the engine turned up to the highest rating by Cummins.

It's been a lot of FUN building Her .......... Here's how I roll ...........

No Complaints ..........

Hey Pat --

No -- She was a Twin-Screw at Birth ............

Knocked the Front Screw off and brought the rear Screw forward - And shortened the frame.

Just don't have the vertical load for a Twin Screw.

Wind Generator is an Air-X ............. Sweet setup !!

Takes me less than a minute to raise. Nothing to assemble or wire. Took me a year to finally find a way to make it happen.

Here's a couple of close-up shots for ya .........

Here it is in it's stowed/travel position ...............

Hey -- Glad you enjoyed the pictures !!

She holds a few more suprises that I don't have pictures of ............ :^)

Here's a couple pics of our rig.

2002 Chevy 2500HD Crew Cab LT 4x4 with a 496 Cubic Inch 8.1-liter Big Block gasoline V8 producing 340 hp and 455 lb-ft of torque connected to an Allison Transmission. It likes gas but it's a running machine[:D].

Well if I'm just putt'in around I get 10-12 mpg and there's not much of a drop when I'm pulling our tandem trailer, it drops to around 8-10 but for the amount of power and torque I think it's worth it. It always amazes me when going up hills. At any point I can push on it a little bit and it takes right off like it's nothing. I've always wanted a diesel but with the way diesel prices are I couldn't justify it no more than I drive.

duckhunter-just fyi those wheels look like procomps steel wheels. i know theyre steel but idk what brand, it looks like the center cap says eagle but i dont think they make steel wheels.

chief-i dont really tow that much but the gas mileage on a diesel is what sold me. where you get 10-12 i can get 16-18 and around 21 on the highway, but thats if i keep my foot off the pedal [:p]. most of the guys on dieselplace get about that which makes me jealous. diesel was also the cheapest fuel available when i got my truck but not anymore [:(]
