Mine stays in the garage and has been to Windrock a couple of times and is already turning purple. I've heard they will warranty if the plastic is warping which mine is, but I haven't checked on that.

Is everyones Camo Ranger plastic turning purple? I have seen 4 so far and they have all faded out. Is there any after maket plastic or recall for the 2006 700xp camo?

There is no recall that I know of but these guys do an awesome job. Some of our members have used them and they help keep the site free here as sponsors

You can also check out Camo-Clad that's essentially a tape covering and it would be a "do it yourself project".

I was told by one of the employees at the local dealer that the 06 XP were going to be warranteed. Unfortunately, it was after I put CamoClad on my 06 700 XP. It looks good now. Can't hurt to check it out.

How hard is it to put the camoclad on and which one did you use. How tough is is. does it roll up or peal off?

My CamoClad is holding up pretty good. If you use it follow the directions exactly. You will use a lot of little pieces to do the dash especially. Once you take the CamoClad off the backing let the piece relax for a minute because it stretchs when you pull it off. It seems to be holding pretty well except in the places where I pulled it too tight while applying it.
Good luck.

Negative on keep it in the garage will save your polaris camo from turning purple. My Ranger has been the garage it's entire life except for the 105 hours that are on the meter. It has been purple since 20 hours on the meter.

I am having mine "dipped" by one of our sponsors.

What about 07's? Is it fixed now? They charge extra for that pretty purple camo. Who ever heard of Purple Camo? Who ever heard of a man driving a Purple ATV/UTV? Sounds like they got that camo from France.

If the CamoClad doesn't hold up I will go to the repaint with the same process that Lynnette had done on thiers. It will be in a camoflage pattern, perfer the look of Natural Gear.

I can't confirm this, but I had been told that the problem was solved for 2007 with a different camo process. Does anybody have an '07 with this problem?
