Anyone know what the lowest psi i cam run in the ranger 900 without blowing the bead assuming i occasionally put 500lbs in the bed? Im at 9 right now and the tires seem harder than they need to be. I like the tires to give as much as possible for ride quality.

well considering i got my new 2015 900 in mid december and just checked the tire pressure yesterday and they were set at (6.8 PSI) I'm assuming from polaris. I know there good to that. Oh and yes the tires are the stock PXT's tire and rim setup.

I think you folks are used to both aftermarket tires and then pumping them up for more ground clearance vs me who wants to run them as low as safely possible. Any others? I may go to six lbs. ,y atv was 3.5 lbs

I wouldn't run anything less than 10 with the PXT's. Those were the original tires on my '06 and I was having a pinch flat (or four) nearly every time that I rode it when trying to run the OEM recommended pressure. I increased that to 14 psi and that helped greatly. The final fix was to replace those tires with Bighorns, and no more pinch flats. I despise Carlisle tires.

Wow, at 10lbs...

When you say pinch flats are you talking anout bisting the besd seal amd losing all pressure? I jsually think of pinch flats as something that happens with tubes, but it may also mean bead seal problems. I run my bad boy at 6lbs and that pig is heavy with all the batteries.
