I'm curious how many people have snorkeled right off the airbox and eliminated the big air reservoir behind the gas tank, and if you noticed a change in performance? I have no real reason for wanting to do it aside from eliminating a bunch of extra intake parts that have the potential to be poked by sticks. There'd be a lot less restriction in the air intake, but is that airbox/reservior neccessary? Just for noise?
