Hello,
I am interested in a Ranger xp. Are you guys paying MSRP for you Rangers? 2 dealers basically quoted me that price. I see from other forums John Deere xuvs are being sold for about 10% under msrp. I e-mailed 3 dealers in my area. I have had 2 responses. One at msrp and another $200 below msrp.

You can allways come in with a lower offer, but I think $200 under is pretty good And welcome to PRC!

Roger welcome to PRC. From the posts I read it seems that the area you come from dictates the price. Some areas are over and some are as far under as 1300. You just have to do a lot of internet shopping and determine how far you want to drive to pick it up.

Welcome to the PRC if there is a good dealer in your area, its worth a little extra not to have to drive so far for service and for help.

I ended up paying MSRP but the deeler I used did not add all thoe other BS fees that the other dealers wanted to charge me.

In my area the dealers did not want to deal lower than MSRP. I am sure I could have gotten a better deal if I shopped around more or went out of state.

it all comes down to supply and demand. but two hundred sounds like a pretty fair deal. you may want to see if they'll make you a deal on some accessories or services at the time of delivery also. good luck and whatever you do i'm sure you'll have a blast with the ranger.

Hello Roger, I paid a couple hundred under msrp (no prep/shipping etc). The dealer gave me %15 discount on accessories and delivered the ranger. Good luck, Mike
