Removing the front differential seasonally

So I want to remove my front differential, drives shaft and the axles in the winter when I run skis this coming year. Does anyone sell something I can use to hold the wheels on or is just cutting down some axles my only option?

If you just pulled the driveshaft or left it in 2wd wouldn’t that give you the desired effect you’re aiming for?

Running a set of tracks on the rear only?

Also not sure why you're removing the front gearbox and propshaft but if you need to hold the wheels on without the axles you could just purchase two outer CV joints.

Ah thanks that's the word that was escaping me. Now I can narrow my search if I can't happen across some busted ones for free.

I know I could just pull the driveshaft for my ski/track setup but I want to take everything thing out so no chance of damage and I can rebuild it every year. I live in remote Alaska so I use the machine daily and I can be a bit hard on her so I like to service it a bit more often than normal.
