Did you hear that? . . . . . . . . I think that mudhole was calling my name!!!! [:p]

Looks like great terrain!

So, can you ride right into town on your ranger? Do you need a special permit to do so? Was just wondering about riding to a hotel.

You can ride on the roads in Evarts and the riding is all free and no permits needed. All of the Motels to my knowledge are in Harlan and you would have to trailer you machines to Evarts. There is lots of rental houses and places to camp that you can ride on the rode to get to the trail head.Look at my pictures from my 2 trips there marked Kentucky http://photos.yahoo.com/rdd8

Great pics. Thanks for sharing! I'm just thinking about the side x side ride in August. We love to camp in our enclosed trailer, but I'm thinking it might be hot and humid at that point of summer and I may need some air conditioning! [:D] Thanks for the info.

I din't see any motels in Evarts but there are plenty of houses to rent that are completely furnished. The one we were in had 3 bedrooms and 2 bath and washer and dryer for cleaning up the muddy clothes. It rented for 100.00 per night. Once you unload you can ride anywere in town. To find a place to stay look under lodging at www.kyoutdoors.com/hcrr/ all their info is on this site.

Thanks. Sounds very reasonable and convenient. We'll check into that.
