Has anyone tried the riders x gps nav app by polaris? It looks very user friendly and you can share trails and some trails are already loaded on there.

I installed it. I think it has potential, but the interface is pretty lame and the map server responsiveness is REALLY slow. Also, well known trails in many areas are lacking. But if the app takes off and enough people install and submit trails, I think it might take off.
I downloaded the app on my Note 2 phone and on my macbook. There are some good features to it as you can see various types of trails, plan a trip, load in specifics on your rides. There are several layers to the maps such as weather and you can add your own waypoints. You can also see your progress on your phone as long as you have cell service. For a free app, it's pretty nice.
MotionX is a way better app.

Unfortunately, the last time I checked, they did not offer it for the Droid.....only iPhone.
Pretty such you are correct. I read something a few weeks ago on the RZR forum about the best Andriod GPS app but I would have to look it back up to find. They have a really good thread on that forum about it all.

Thanks for all the replies guys! Im going to try it out next weekend and see how it does. They say you can save an area and be able to use the app without cell service.. we will see.
