Here's a short video I compiled from our ride last Thursday in the Sangre de Cristo mountains in southern Colorado. A few things worth mentioning: 1) my mid-size crew needs more ground clearance 2) getting on a 50" trail with a midsize crew is sketchy, primarily due to foot bridges and blow downs, 3) we need more snow (which we are getting as I type this), 4) my background music is called "Big Iron", how I felt after surviving the 50" trail. Anyway, here's the link:

Looks like a nice ride. Yeah….those 50" trails can get tight. I rode last weekend and some got dicey even with the single cab mid-size.

Nice! Good luck on the bow hunt. I'm hoping to get out again in September for my second bow hunt season. At this point I consider a successful hunt if I even see anything that I could aim at. :)

Great scenery. I take it you had to turn around @ that bridge?

Yes, I did turn around at the bridge which was quite an undertaking with the long crew. There was a stump right next to the bridge on the right side that would not allow me to line up straight to cross. Though just looking at it, the width probably was just enough to scrape both sides of my Ranger. Next time I venture out that way, I will have a hand saw in the Ranger and a measuring tape :)
