Well I lucked out with a beatiful day off finally and decided to play with the stuff that was finally sent out to me.

In the past week I have done the following:

Sp Belt
K&N Filter
Dobeck EFI controller
Big Gun Exhaust

I went from a top speed of 63km/h to today 75km/h, the midrange is awesome, and it sounds lot heartier too.

Going out on Saturday with a group of guys, can't wait to see how it performs then.

I played with the Dobeck today, setting it to where 'I' thought it sounded good and performed, but I don't have much of an ear unfortunately for those things, will have to wait for someone a bit more expirenced to have a listen and see if we can't tweek it a bit.

Well, time to hitch up the mower and go cut some grass.. LOL

Sound like you had a real good day. Be very careful 75 is way toooooo fast for me on a Ranger.

Joe, that is 75 KM/hr, not mph.

Does the Big Gun seem to loud out on the trail? I have installed B/G's on a Sportsman and a Scrambler and they are pretty loud. Jerry

Well, I went out on last Saturday for a full afternoon of riding, putting on approx 40 miles of hard riding, lots of wide open driving and playing in deep water/mud. Everything performed flawlessly, however, I am sure the fuel consumption is up, as I used almost a full tank of fuel. I am quite sure I have never used that much before on longer rides.
The exhaust is definately louder, it is very noticeable and to someone not into that, it would be annoying. However, we were out with a guy who just got his RZR and I don't think it was any louder than his.
I couldn't keep up to the RZR, but I definately gave him a decent workout in bottom end.
There were a few things we learned about his RZR in comparison to the Ranger, and that is, going thru water, his floorboards would fill up quick with water, and take quite some time to drain out, and the water would splash around obviously quite a bit until it finally drained.

And the other was, we were splashing thru the same water puddle and we would both race into it, and his belt would become instantly swamped, where as, the Ranger never did have any issues with it. We did this 5 times and everytime, he would only make it 3/4 way thru and have to stop and rev his motor and dry his belt out to make it thru the rest of the way. But WOW, do those units go, and the midrange to top end is awesome...definately on my Christmas list for Santa.. LOL

Got some awesome pics of that and some video too.
