I have an 08 Polaris Rzr 800 and it's been back firing but we hooked it up to a diagnostic machine.The machine was saying Rpm sensor,do you know where to find it on the parts diagram and also an OEM part # ?

Not sure what kind of diagnostic machine you have it hooked up to and there are more than one problems that can cause backfire but the CRANK POSITION SENSOR and usually just the wires chafing/broken is one of them. Passenger side rear of engine at flywheel/stator cover.

hmm.. was this hooked up to digital wrench? do you have the specific code its throwing?
