I tried to attach a pic of my bumper but it didnt work. It is an aftermarket polaris bumper that wraps more of the front end. This weekend i noticed a bunch of rusty water sprayed out of the bumper and onto the under carriage, shocks and wheel wells. While not a problem at the moment, i am anticipating over the years that this will cause the bumper to rust out.

I didnt have time to inspect more closely but i will do so this weekend when i get back out but wondered if anyone else has experienced this and if so, where is water entering and how did you seal.

First off, you do not want to seal it, it needs to breathe to slow down the rusting process. If you seal it, condensation will form on the inside of the tubes due to temperature change, causing moisture buildup. This will cause it to rust out faster.
Look at your bumper closely and find the lowest part of the tubes, then drill extra drain holes there, coat with a little paint.

This is a problem on the oem 900 bumper and the top extension ( I believe).

Look up fluid film. It is a lanolin based coating that I used on my truck (and 2 commercial plow trucks) this winter to fight rust from road salt. After this wi yet in New England all of the truck still look brand new. I was even tho king of coating the underside of my ranger in places to preserve it where the factory paint has come off.

I have noticed the same thing on mine as well and I have the stock bumper

I'm not too worried about it I'm gonna replace it with another one when/if I decide which one I want lol but it does make me mad when I have the entire machine spotless and I drive it around the yard and then i have rusty water all over the front like you stated

Yup get the same thing on my stock bumper, I now get into the habit of using my compressor and blow air though it al the time with a rag on the other end to catch the water. Its a shame they do that for the price of the accessories. I love my XP but when it come to the quality of the accessories have a look at BRP stuff versus our like the welds and joint etc there is no comparison !

Same problem on the stock bumper. It stays full of water. I did the same thing as slimRocket. I drilled two 1/4" holes just behind and on each side of the grill. This will alleviate the water problem.

That really pretty ridiculous that after all the years of building these things, they dont address such simple things. Dont get me wrong, im not going to be ome a polaris basher over water in the bumper, but really? I have not even driven my thru water at this point so it must be coming from hosing which i did a lot of formthe first 3 weeks Md now, not so much,

Anyway, i will drill a couple of holes but geez, how stupid.

Yes thats the stuff. I can vouch for it as well. I used it on forklift lift chains that stayed outside all year round. The only thing that came close was caked on grease and its much messier and fluid film has a tendency to sort of heal. For example where the chain rubbed over a guide it would rub the grease off and it would rust after a rain. Not so for the fluid film.
I love the stuff.
