I think I found the part that most people will want to remove from their primary clutch:

19 5437199 Spacer, Clutch, Limiter

But, unless you have a tool to do it, you'll most likely have to have your dealer do it. Word is that removing this will get the RzR over 60mph. :)

Also, it appears that there are two models of the 800 Sportsman, one with the old clutch setup and one with the new with a Team Roller Secondary. I'm not clear by looking at the parts diagram, but it's possible that the clutch is the same, because the belt is the same between the 800 with Team Secondary and the 800 RzR, which also has the Team Secondary. So, essentially, the belts are the same 3211113. The clutches appear to be the same, but you have to make sure you pick the right build date on the 800 sportsman to match the clutches.

This is great news, because clutching these for better performance will not only be a lot easier, it will be a lot cheaper too.

It appears that we're good to go on this mod, since all your deal was a clip. Nice!

Go to www.polarisindustries.com and go up to the top and pick the parts manual tab, which is one of the dropdowns. From there it will ask for a email and password and you're all set.

The parts catalog selection is in the bottom left hand side of the screen...they've not got the owner's manual up yet, but the parts manual is up and running perfectly. It's labeled "Online Parts Catalog"

Team makes the clutches in the XP's as well, it's just not a roller secondary like the Rzr or latest 800 sportsman.

Chris,
Thanks again. This is really weird. I again went to the site but the selection page has changed from this morning. Maybe Polaris was updating the page when I attempted to find the Rzr manual because there was nothing in the drop down newer than '06 as of 9am today. All's well now. I'm back on my meds [:p]

I'm curious. By removing the spacer does this affect the torque at all (I wouldn't think so) or does it just allow the belt to be driven further out on the clutch on order to increase the top end?

Guys where are you going? Do you have to enter you email and password. It's not the first thing that pops up after that. You have to select the online parts manual on the bottom left of the screen...that's what you want. Nothing shows up under the owners manual or parts manual thing on the main screen immediately after you enter your email and password.

Here we go! It's a shorter route!

http://parts.polarisind.com/Browse/Browse.asp

Had to to to the link above then click on the "Riders" tab then on "Manuals and Parts" and then click on the "Online Parts Catalog" on the left hand side of the page which brought me to the link above.

Thanks for the heads up. Now I have some browsing to do to get familiar with this thing!

so how many of you all are taking this part out of your clutch ? is it hard on anything on the rzr... i mean besides maybe the belt...? and how much faster are we talkign on the wear on the belt ? I am getting my rzr like the 26th... and i am wanting to break it in, but them immedietely take this piece out of the clutch...
I just want to make sure that enough of you all have already done it to make for sure that nothing is going to go wrong..
