Ladies and Gentlemen,
I have been so busy the past several days that I have not had the time to check in as often as normal. I do apologize for that. But, after checking in and reading some of the threads going on here, I was taken aback. So, I thought I had better put down my thoughts on this matter now.
First: This is a Family Friendly forum and name calling, flaming, vicious arguments and rude behavior will not be tolerated. I don't care who started what, this needs to end. PRC has been around for 2 1/2 years now and this philosophy is a sound one and has been working well for us.
Second: When asking something about the RZR, please keep it simple, readable and to the point.
Third: We are having new members check in who have RZR's on order. As new members, I expect to see them treated just as well as anyone else on here and that treatment had better be good.
Fourth: We have a few vendors posting some on RZR development work. This benefits us and is good reading. Take it for what it is worth, it is development work and not everything is perfect. Let's stop harassing them to "spill the beans".
I have been aggravated and disgusted and frankly I can't make it through all the posts without just getting tired and getting a headache from reading all this mess. I am not at all against info and stories, but from now on, it better be friendly like it is 99.9% of the time.
Penalties: Here on PRC, we moderate this forum as even handed and fairly as possible. We will never be able to please everyone but that is just life. For offensive posts, we have the option of correcting/changing language, deleting the post, locking the thread, etc. Our next step would be a personal e-mail to explian what it is that is offensive. Our next step would be to lock and/or remove a post entirely. Next on the scale would be to "lock" a member from posting for a day or two. That usually works very well. Our very last step, one that has been taken only a few times, would be to delete the member from the membership.
So, lets step back a bit, take a deep breath and look at your posts. I do not want to have to mention this again and I don't want folks that haven't been around long to get a bad impression of PRC. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
