Ladies and Gentlemen,

I have been so busy the past several days that I have not had the time to check in as often as normal. I do apologize for that. But, after checking in and reading some of the threads going on here, I was taken aback. So, I thought I had better put down my thoughts on this matter now.

First: This is a Family Friendly forum and name calling, flaming, vicious arguments and rude behavior will not be tolerated. I don't care who started what, this needs to end. PRC has been around for 2 1/2 years now and this philosophy is a sound one and has been working well for us.

Second: When asking something about the RZR, please keep it simple, readable and to the point.

Third: We are having new members check in who have RZR's on order. As new members, I expect to see them treated just as well as anyone else on here and that treatment had better be good.

Fourth: We have a few vendors posting some on RZR development work. This benefits us and is good reading. Take it for what it is worth, it is development work and not everything is perfect. Let's stop harassing them to "spill the beans".

I have been aggravated and disgusted and frankly I can't make it through all the posts without just getting tired and getting a headache from reading all this mess. I am not at all against info and stories, but from now on, it better be friendly like it is 99.9% of the time.

Penalties: Here on PRC, we moderate this forum as even handed and fairly as possible. We will never be able to please everyone but that is just life. For offensive posts, we have the option of correcting/changing language, deleting the post, locking the thread, etc. Our next step would be a personal e-mail to explian what it is that is offensive. Our next step would be to lock and/or remove a post entirely. Next on the scale would be to "lock" a member from posting for a day or two. That usually works very well. Our very last step, one that has been taken only a few times, would be to delete the member from the membership.

So, lets step back a bit, take a deep breath and look at your posts. I do not want to have to mention this again and I don't want folks that haven't been around long to get a bad impression of PRC. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

Bruce and other moderators,

I want to personally thank you for what you are trying to do here, when I first hit this site I said some aggressive things and I was shocked at how understanding and forgiving you all were. As a Christian I want to be in a place that isn't strewn with vulgarity, angry words and unkind posts and it seems there are less and less forums that uphold that standard so I support the direction you are tying to keep it on, keep up the great work.

I would second that. This was the first forum that I ever joined and quite frankly it spoiled me.I have been a bit distressed lately that the usual standards have been some what tarnished but alas progress and popularity always take a toll. I appreciate your efforts to moderate this forum and maintain its civility.

A little spirited debate never hurt anyone. We do seem to have a troll in our midst who delights in turning every thread into a confrontation, but such is the real world. Life is not all happy, happy, love, and kisses all of the time, but a little tact is nice. I don't let the trolls get my underwear in a knot, I just state my point and move on.

Thanks John. I meant what I said and those that don't like it can take a hike! We do bend over backwards to accomodate all views and even when someone posts something confrontational, we don't ban them. We do look for patterns and repeat offenders though. With the intro of the RZR, I am going to be watching this section like a hawk and if I must, correction will be swift. Thanks for understanding where we are coming from.

I will agree with rhinopkc. I got sucked into a deal with a so called troll after getting attacked on a simple statement to how the rzr showed in a race. this was a mistake. hope we can still go forward but still have a opinion. mine was one of the ones removed after reading to much on one of the post in regards to protecting the rzr to the rhinos. I own a polaris and not a rhino but my friends do....Good job guys..

Certainly, we don't need to be a bunch of 'head-bobbers' who agree with everything each other says, but it takes a much bigger man to banter in a respectful manner than it does to trash talk and name-call. I've disagreed (and said so) with many on this forum, but never has it been done in such a way that wasn't upbeat and respectful. When I vehemently disagree with someone and wish to tell them so, I try to say it in such a way that I would express it to my mother [;)].

Yep, don't anyone take the message to mean that everyone has to agree. We don't and probably won't ever agree on everything but like Randy said, there is a right way and a wrong way to do it. Things we remove are pretty obvious to most as to why it was done.

Yeah, I don't agree with Bruce most of the time, but it's all good! LOL! Just kiddin' Bruce! [:p]

Seriously, we all have been in heated discussions with one another and that is a healthy thing to do. Sometimes there is good information that comes out of a heated discussion that benefits a lot of people. I think we all just need to remember why we love this forum - it is family-friendly, non-bashing, non-threatening, etc.

Guys...this is getting a little bit blown out of proportion for going on two pages now.

As Ran said, nobody here finds hanging with head-bobbers in the least bit interesting...yet if you guys keep going on and on with these singled-out exaggerations...what kind of honest opinions are you going to get from folks who simply question the facts; back their statements up and and are desirous of being part of the community?
