I know seat belts are important but a lot of times I don't always want to wear mine so needless to say I was more than pleased to see somebody developed a plug and play override. The harness override was the first thing I bought as well, great product for a good price.

You can take the 4 screws out that hold the buckle together. Once the back is off there is a little sail switch that makes or breaks the circuit once buckle is inserted. I used a piece of tape to keep switch activated.

I was messing with mine this weekend and just stripped the wires back a little and twisted them together and worked like a charm.

Ken, yeas we've been out of the loop for awhile and Rangerless for 5 years. We couldn't take it any longer lol so we took the plunge and picked up a 2015 white lightening crew 900 and all I can say is WOW! I was amazed at how quiet the 900 is and the amount of power it has, a lot of torque compared to the 800 crew we used to have .

T-10 security bit takes the screws out of the buckle.

I would save your money and take the clip apart to tape the switch closed like stated above, it takes less then 5 min and is almost free and on top of that its reversible
