If it is like my 12 you pop the cap off then down inside their is a screw then it slides right off.
Shift Knob Removal
Does anyone know how to remove the shift knob from a '15 mid-size Ranger?

As stated above, pop off cap on top of shifter. There is a t-25 torx (if I remember correctly) screw that holds the shifter on the gear selector arm.
