Lets say I,m riding for a little while, its hard to shift from high, to low , or reverse. Sometimes I have to turn my ranger off to put it in another gear.I have about 46 hours on my bike. Does anybody no what it could be.[?]

Adjust the engine idle down just a little. If they are idling to fast, they're pretty hard to shift.

Exactly like Dan said. My '06 was hard to shift when it arrived, dropped the idle and it was very smooth.

I had problems when I was plowing because I didn't let the engine slow down enough before shifting. Definitely check your idle.
