I was riding in a beaver swamp last night and stick or something hung on the front of the plastic skid plate and rolled it back under my Ranger. I was considering adding some screws to it or replacing it with an aluminum one. Any thoughts on this and where to purchase this. I now am interested in protecting my uv boots better aslo if anyone has suggestions on that.

Go to our Sponsor section and look for EMP. A lot of us have their A-arm guards and they are great and very reasonable in price. They also have a replacement aluminum skid for the belly. They make great stuff and you won't be disappointed.

The same thing happened to me when I squeezed my Ranger between two trees. The front end bounced, came down on some big roots and oil-canned the plastic skid plate. Front popped out and I drug the ground with mine.

EMP makes a mighty nice skid plate, as well as A-arm guards. And, not difficult to install. (Link below for 'ya!)

"Ditto" with EMP's A-Arms guards and their full bottom skid plate.
If I did not have them I'd have already spent some good money
on expensive repairs.
Worth their eight in gold.
