Installed polaris lock n ride sport roof amd it is rattling in the front from vibration at certain speeds. The roof came with screws to attach it though they appeared optional or perhaps necessary if you trailer, which i do t but no instructions on where or how to install the screws. Im wondering if they are needed to stop the rattle and second, should i be adding some adhesive foam weather stripping? What have you done and have you had the same rattle?

Screws are too lock down the back edge ffront.from the back. I never put mine in and have had no problems. Foam seal should help if the front is rattling.

My rattles bad too. Annoying, need to add something to mine as well.

Weatherstripping or flat moulding. There's plenty of room for even 1/4 strips of rubber to be glued to the roof itself.

Screws definitely won't stop the rattle.

Great suggestions above plus I added a bead of clear silicon across the top where the two pieces are joined.

The seal kit stopped the rattle on mine.

Weather stripping at a local hardware store works for me, $3 invested no rattles even with my 10" sub on.

First time owner, I just got a 570 FS with sport top, and I have a rattle as well. What is the seal kit you are referring to?

I put the seal kit on mine. Well worth it really tightens it up.

I used the clips and screws on mine because I trailer it some running 70 mph on interstate roof stays put and no rattles or squeaks either.

Well, I had the sport roof installed, and had the rattle, or squeak. After looking over the forums, I decided to try the bending of the tab on the pillar post. It was only squeaking on the drivers side. I took a 3/8" extension, put it inside the finger of a glove to protect the paint, and tapped it with a hammer. No more rattle/squeak...

1" rubberized (the good stuff) pipe insulation and zip ties works real nice too. $6.00 @ lowes/depot I also wrapped my great day vertical gun rack too so no more knee knocker for middle seat rider
