I installed the 2.5"Marshall Motoart lift today and while installing the front right lift to the shock, I pressed down on the tire and heard a pop. It appeared that the front a arm became lower than before. I finished the install, checked everything (axles, steering CVs and what not. Everything appeared fine. Both tires are steering and no noise appears to be heard. However, I noticed that the steering is now off. The unit pulls to the right and the front right tire is bowed out to the right as if out of alignment. Any ideas on a fix? Is it alignment or possible something is popped out of place? I know that the directions advised to not put that much pressure on the front tire while attempting to install under the shock is it could cause separation of the axle but the axle appears fine....Im lost...

Now I am not so certain that there is a mechanical issue as much as there might possibly be an alignment issue. This thing is playing tricks on me. Friends are advising that the lift changes the angle and that a possible alignment may be necessary. Any advise?

As for the pop you heard I don't know, but yes after installing lift you have to realign front tires.

Thanks for the heads up. Ya it almost sounded as if a ball joint had popped loose while I was flexing down the front right tire to attempt to push the front shock up under the housing for the install. Who knows..

you do know you were supposed to take wheel off and axle nut to do that install correct? that's why It was so hard to get your strut back under housing.
