For those that are getting an RZR......Have you thought about a installing a stereo...if so, where and how might you mount the head unit and the speakers? I thought about making self contained all in one box but then I think why dont I just bungie a boom box in the cargo area.. Hows the sound quality in you Ranger's or Rhino's,etc with a stereo?

I've wondered the exact same question about where to mount in the RZR. I've got mine all in one as a self contained unit and really like it. I think the biggest draw back is the noise inside the cab. I have to keep it cranked pretty good just to hear it, which I guess isn't totally bad LOL. I'd have to get a little bit more time inside an RZR before I could decide exactly the best spot for a stereo. I'm looking forward to seeing how and what home made inventions are built for the RZR.

After having one allready there very hard to hear once you get up to speed even harder with a pipe. The lighter u keep it the faster it will run not going to bother this time....

I believe in front of the "Oh S$%t bar" there is a place in the dash for a dash mounted stereo.

i made a billet aluminum face w/ stereo and switches for lights. i plan to put it up under the dash.. dunno about speakers yet. thinking about the kind that mount on the cage.

is it 1 3/4 or 1 1/2? i've had problems finding this.. i just machined a whip mount for mine i did it 1 1/2. i also made a light bar for the front of the cage and it's clamps are 1 1/2.. are the bars 1 3/4?

i hate making parts for stuff that isnt here yet!!!

cage tubing is 1 3/4 We are currently working on speaker pods and a deck mounting system will post soon with details.

hey i have a pretty nice deck mount all finished.. just dont know for sure how it's gonna fit.. i wont know unitl my rzr gets here.. i'll shoot you a pic of it after (if ever) my rzr shows up.

i thought the tubing was 1 1/2 i can prolly chuck this stuff up in the lathe and open it up a quarter inch.

are you guys doing your own cnc work? or do you outsource it?

The RZR is at the dealer, I went in and rode it but it is still there and they are putting in the new steering box tomorrow, as well as installing the winch, 14 inch wheels and other accessories. I should be picking it up thusday evening.
