Been just kinda lurking around here for a month or so now. I am US Army stationed in Fairbanks, Alaska. Was looking at buying a Rhino Sport and couldnt find one when i read about the RZR back in April. Went to the Polaris dealer who told me he had 2 coming and I could put deposit down. Told him since i leave for Korea in July that only if he gave me the one coming in May. So i was all set to get the first one.

Well as you can see may is almost done and still no ship date. Watching everyone walk in and buy one is getting a little frustrating, but still excited. Although when picking up a part on the 22nd I did get some news from my useless dealer, he checked while there after saying he only got updates on Mondays, my unit has been funded, which i guess means the dealer has been charged.

Well missed a good ride over the weekend but still have some weeks of leave yet so maybe hope.

Please tell me i made the right choice waiting!!! It is for my wife and 10 year old son to follow behind my 800 Sportsman.

Well, Tim, I feel your pain. I'm still waiting out here in Colorado. I've got a deposit on one but have called all the other dealers I can think of to see if I might get lucky but so far none have received any (including the dealers I called in Cheyenne and Santa Fe). I heard that the green Rzr's will start shipping towards the end of Summer or early Fall so I'm kind of thinking that maybe I'll just wait until then to get one. Some of the bugs I've been reading about will hopefully be worked out by then, plus I've owned red Polaris's since 1995 and I'd kinda like a different color!

Anyway, hang in there, be safe, and thank you for your service!

I just wanted to add my thanks to you for serving our great country and also to your family for the sacrifices that they make also. I'm still waiting on the Rzr to come into my local dealer so I can check it out.

Well went to dealer today, who by the way i dont have good relationship with, but dont have alot of options up here. says he will call with any information but twice in the past week i go in and he has information. had same issues when i got my 800 sportsman. anyways he siad it shipped out yesterday but still doesnt have vin for me, he knows my loan closes out on the 1st of june. wondering if he is playing games, knowing i wasnt buying any accessories from him and i worked the deal months ago for msrp and know realizes he could mark it up. the dentist who bought number 2 ordered all the accessories.

oh well point of the story shipping takes 10 days to here. getting excited

EDIT: Dealer called this morning with my VIN, so looks like its getting closer. Still dont like him hahaha.

Well as of 5 pm today the long night begins. finally came into today so the wait is over within 3 weeks of leaving country. so cannot wait to ride it and the weekend wont come soon enough.
