Street Legal Ranger? Possible?

I see a few people made their Ranger 'Street Legal'. I am sure it depends mainly on the state and even county. But I was wondering if there are any Florida Ranger owners (or any other UTV owners) that tried this. I have a feeling it is all about how to pass it by the local DMV?

I just sold a GEM Electric Car made by Chrysler. They call them NEV (Neighborhood Electric Vehicles I think). I could drive it in speed limits of 35mph and under. Had a license plate and insured through State Farm.
