Stretch soft top.

I remember seeing a soft top with soft plastic windshield that attached under the front of the hood or bumper area up and over the roll cage. Does anyone have one? Do they like it? Where are they available?
Thank you,
Bruce

I have one and like it very much. You do have to screw a few snaps into the bottom black plastic on either side of where you get into the ranger and the rest is velcro - took me about an hour to install and then it only takes 5 min to put on after that. The fabris is better than I thought it would be. It's made in the States by a small company I even talked to the guy that designed it and sewed it. You can email this person to order one. [email protected] - the wesite is http://www.gooutdoorsonline.com but it's not that great of a website - they take paypal I know - if you tell them your with the PRC you can offfer them $375.00 and they will take it - They also have them on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Pola...ategoryZ6755QQihZ018QQitemZ280104944151QQrdZ1
Thank you for the help Supercruiser. I think I will order one today. I will tell them you and PRC sent me.

The email I gave you, her name is Jenny and she is really nice. I had a bad zipper on the one I recieved and she took really good care of me.
You will be happy to know I beat the crap out of this through the woods this weekend and I didn't rip or break anything on it. Maybe I was just lucky but it held up well.

Just a warning to you guys, when I took mine off the hood was scuffed by the material rubbing on it. I will never put it back on.
You had said that before so I have been careful to watch for that. Thanks
FYI: It appears an outfit called Mammothskins sells these soft cabs. I talked to Matt Oldham, the owner, by phone and he is the one making these cabs. Anyone know anything more about this product?
It's a great product. My buddy and I both have one and other people that have seen it are interested. It may rub a little when dirty on the hood but I'm not one to really worry about scratches as my machine has many due to they way I run it through the woods. It seals up pretty darn good and the windshield is taught so you can see well out of it.
I have the Go cab as well. I have been very happy with it.
I'd agree with what has been said about the hood. If you are worried about scuffs/scratches, probably not the correct product for you. I had mine on all last winter and I have a couple scuffs, but you can't notice them anymore than all the rest from riding through the woods/etc.

Would there be away to tuck it between the hood and dash and not scratch or rub your hood? I like the idea of having a full stretch enclosure but not to up on it if it would scratch the hood on my new midnight red xp.......

Mike, my wife did some alterations to our soft cab so we could use the windshield after I made my aluminum roof. We cut the front bra part off and left it long enough to go down between the hood and dash. I put velcro under the dash and she sewed velcro on the flap we left on the soft cab. Works fine, stayed in place doing 54 gps miles per hour down hill. Here are some photos.

I ordered the full cab from Mat at Mammothskins, who was a pleasure to talk with on the phone. I mentioned I saw his product on the PRC Forum and he offered a discount. So my thanks to this board once again. I asked if he was a sponser and he said he wasn't but that he had been on the forum in the past. Since he is not a sponser I'll leave it to other members to research the product if they like. I will say the GO Outdoors folks don't seem to sell the product anymore.
What if you could put something in between the hood and it, They make a rock chip material for trucks, It's clear and sticks on the quarter panels to keep the road grim off, It will come off with out pealing paint. I wonder if that would work, Or just putting something in between? I don't want to scratch mine either![:(]
Good idea. I will try that with my install and report back.
This might just be the trick?

I don't want to advertise for someone else and get in trouble.

I am looking for some Velcro to replace some that came off this exact soft cover. Did you happen to have to buy anymore? I am looking for some really sticky 2 inch velcro. Thanks

Bob

I was wondering how you zip the doors shut with a setup like the one pictured above?

Thanks
BeeFarmer, you can get 2 inch sticky back Industrial Strength Velcro at Wall Mart in the fabric and thread area or at Home Depot or other hardware stores.
Supercruiser, I bought the windshield, top and back without the doors since the winter in Flagstaff aren't real cold like the midwest.
I got ya Greg - I just couldn't figure out how that would work with mine but I have the doors. Thanks
