Important News about Rzr clutch!!!
There is going to be an updated clutch/locking mechanism for the RZR. Polaris was aware that there was the possibility for a problem and redesigned the clutch.

Rzr "PROBLEM" Report
Problem... Loose bolt
Damage...drive belt
Repair... replace belt, adjust clutch and be sure bolt is properly secured.
I don't think its possible to flip that belt unless you wore it down to about
1/2" wide.

substansial amount of water in the clutch compartment, had come through the small drain hole in the front of the box onto the air outlet from the clutch cover, then ran into the compartment, We used a plug which is Polaris part number 5432952 to put in the hole and seal it off

This post was killed alredy once before as you are posting info that is not entirely correct.
No one has verified the brake line rubbing issue.
No one has had the water in clutch housing issue in real world use.
RZRRider's clutch did not explode as he "theorized", but instead a bolt backed out. Your decision to copy this wording (when reading the thread would have let you know that his original guess was off base is not doing anything but spreading misinformation on other boards. Also there has been no independant verification about the clutch update. Since he is the only one that seems to have failed so far, I am not sure we have a real problem here.
Digger128 did not have a problem with his clutch, which I told you already. He was only responding to RZRrider's issue. See his post on this thread: http://www.prcforum.com/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=1332 . He says only 1 person has had an issue (and that is RZRrider).
The seatbelt issue is not really a failure, since the retractor assemblies are not meant to be submerged. To call this a problem on Polaris' part would be like saying tha

Air Intake:
after abotu 200 miles in the dunes the rzr got where it wouldnt idle.. it was trying to idle down around 4 or 500 rpms and would die.. wouldnt start without pushing the pedal..
i opened up the front to see if there was an idle screw so i could turn the idle up..
to my horror.. i noticed the rubber boot between the airbox and the throttle body was not connected. just kind of hanging there sucking unfiltered air.. i slipped the boot back onto the throttle body. when i tightened the clamp it was clear that this clamp was left loose from the factory.. please please check your machines.. this is not something you want happening..
btw.. once i got the boot back on it didnt fix the idle problem and i found no idle screw.. the fix was to disconnect the battery for a few minutes and let the ecu reset it idles fine now.

I just took my 2nd ride on my RZR, A total of 5.6 hrs.
We had lunch. I got in my RZR and my buddy got in my 04 RIHNO 660.
Let me say I love the pick up, top speed and handling of the RZR
I have not had any problems with the rihno. I was driving The RZR at about 30 MPH and the rear wheels locked up and skidded to a stop.[/yellow]I put it in reverse and the machine backed up. I put in High went about 2 feet and the wheels locked up again, same thing in low.
I thought I would put it in reverse and drive home. It goes about 10 feet in reverse and the same thing happens. I also noticed that even at idiel when I would put it in reverse it would seem to be in between gears and you could hear it grinding. When the wheels would lock up, the motor would rev up like it was out of gear but the wheels would be locked, you couldnt even push it until you switch
gears if your in high you would have to put it in reverse or vise versa. I took it to the dealer today. Any one else have any of these issues?

Thank You
