Hi all. This is my first post, thanks ahead for the help! Can someone please tell me where exactly the TBap sensor is located, and or how to get to it, on my 2010 Ranger XP?
It is on the black boot that comes from the air box to the top of the throttle body.

First post here! I have scoured for HOURS trying to find out where the TBAP is on my 2010 Ranger 800 XP EFI. There is definitely nothing on the black boot. Have no idea where this thing is. Hoping you helpful folks would know!

The black boot has nothing attached to it. What are the two harnesses attached to the fuel? Injectors? Any idea where the TBAP is?

My issue is it runs, then gets sluggish when it gets warm, Then wont move at all. There is A LOT of oil and gas in the air filter as well.

THANK YOU!

Ranger, here is the schematic for a 2010 800 . Number 5 is the Tmap aka TBAP sensor. In the AIR BOX BOOT . Yes, those are the injector harness's . YOU NEED TO DO A LEAK DOWN TEST or at least a compression test. Oil and gas in the filter is usually a sign the crankcase is being pressurized .

OMG, i lifted up the bed and right under the frame is the freaking TBAP sensor lol. Spent all weekend looking for that thing. Glad it wasnt a snake lol. THANK YOU!

First thing I did was replace the fuel pump as that seemed to be an answer to many of my issues. It didnt fix anything but at least i know its not that lol.

So, after the test, what would a typical fix be? If the test results indicate thats the issue.

THANKS AGAIN!
