well I just got in trouble for tearing up my trails. I share 400 acres with my neighbor who set the property up as a nature preserve and I guess iv been riding to aggressive dang it there goes all the fun.
Not sure where you're at, but we've had so much rain in our area that "soft" doesn't begin to describe the ground around here. As easy as I've tried to be, my yard looks like I've held the Mud Nationals there. I'm about to have to put down about $1000 worth of gravel where I've been parking my trailer and camper. It's a wreck.:icon_frown:......the land is damn soft its mostly wetlands and im a little throttle happy.
Man that's no lie Jerry! Weekend before last Royal Blue was a wreck! I had fun but I never saw that place that bad and I have rode there in March the last 3 years. Not sure where you're at, but we've had so much rain in our area that "soft" doesn't begin to describe the ground around here. Around here you need to have written permission on your person to ride on someone elses property. Too many people tearing up the land. It only takes a few people to screw things up, so the state passed laws that you can not ride on someone elses property because of the damage that they cause..I have had this problem in the past few years and have taken steps to stop it..Yeah, gotta be careful with that if it's not your own property. Just like with hunting access, all it takes is one bad incident and a land owner may shut the door for good. Don't wanna sound like I'm preaching 'cause I've done my share of such things in my younger days, but others need to learn from your mistake before it happens to them, so thanks for posting this.
This is what my driveway looks like right now. The stone just disappeared. I've been here 12 years and it's never been this bad before. I wouldn't even think about driving on the lawn. Not sure where you're at, but we've had so much rain in our area that "soft" doesn't begin to describe the ground around here. The section of yard I'm parking my camper in is nearly that bad. It took 4WD to get an empty 20' trailer in after we went riding a couple weeks ago......and I BARELY got it in without getting stuck. There's no way I could pull my camper out right now. I've got a couple of guys hauling gravel in today and tomorrow. Hope to get it down before it rains again on Thursday. This is what my driveway looks like right now. The stone just disappeared. I've been here 12 years and it's never been this bad before. That is a mess and you really have a ton of work ahead of you to get it corrected. How long is your drive? This is what my driveway looks like right now. The stone just disappeared. I've been here 12 years and it's never been this bad before. I wouldn't even think about driving on the lawn.

It's a half mile drive but it's just this one section that got muddy. I have the equipment to fix it but I need to wait until it dries out a little more. That is a mess and you really have a ton of work ahead of you to get it corrected. How long is your drive?
Maybe, but it's still his land. Hopefully you'll be able to smooth it over, sounds like a great thing you've had going!well my trails arnt even close to looking like that so I don't feel so bad I think my neighbor is over reacting
