Yeah, gotta be careful with that if it's not your own property. Just like with hunting access, all it takes is one bad incident and a land owner may shut the door for good. Don't wanna sound like I'm preaching 'cause I've done my share of such things in my younger days, but others need to learn from your mistake before it happens to them, so thanks for posting this.

Is it something you could still go back and hit with a drag and some chain link or something and smooth out and repair a bit back to the way it was? May that could ( smoooooth) him over LOL!!!

......the land is damn soft its mostly wetlands and im a little throttle happy.
Not sure where you're at, but we've had so much rain in our area that "soft" doesn't begin to describe the ground around here. As easy as I've tried to be, my yard looks like I've held the Mud Nationals there. I'm about to have to put down about $1000 worth of gravel where I've been parking my trailer and camper. It's a wreck.:icon_frown:

Around here you need to have written permission on your person to ride on someone elses property. Too many people tearing up the land. It only takes a few people to screw things up, so the state passed laws that you can not ride on someone elses property because of the damage that they cause..I have had this problem in the past few years and have taken steps to stop it..

This is what my driveway looks like right now. The stone just disappeared. I've been here 12 years and it's never been this bad before. I wouldn't even think about driving on the lawn.

Dang I would cry if my drive way looked like that.

I know all about the club the paths high traffic. I ran it to that this year with a land owners son and his bow hunting. Their is only one path in and out of the club and the land owners son put his tree climber 35 yards off the path. I only have one choice in or out but he has 40 acres of choices to hunt. SOO he went and made up a big lie about what was happening on the club and told his dad. Then he get all bent out of shape said a bunch of nasty things and threats. I had to make a bunch of phone calls and put up with the harassment for a while. I know one thing , my boy ever puts me in that kind situation in a lie. He is going to get a good slap in the mouth for tell whoppers.

The section of yard I'm parking my camper in is nearly that bad. It took 4WD to get an empty 20' trailer in after we went riding a couple weeks ago......and I BARELY got it in without getting stuck. There's no way I could pull my camper out right now. I've got a couple of guys hauling gravel in today and tomorrow. Hope to get it down before it rains again on Thursday.

That is a mess and you really have a ton of work ahead of you to get it corrected. How long is your drive?

It's a half mile drive but it's just this one section that got muddy. I have the equipment to fix it but I need to wait until it dries out a little more.
I'm afraid to drive on my trails because they're a lot harder to fix if they get rutted up like that.

well my trails arnt even close to looking like that so I don't feel so bad I think my neighbor is over reacting
Maybe, but it's still his land. Hopefully you'll be able to smooth it over, sounds like a great thing you've had going!
