I was at my local Rural King and picked up some Teflon spray in the discount isle, $2/can, see Dupont Teflon Snow and Ice Repellent 10oz Spray HELPS Prevent Build Up No CFCS | eBay Anyway, I applied it under the drivers side rear fender, arms, shocks, etc., and left the passenger side alone, then went riding. Below are the outcomes, plus cleaned up unit (bottom picture) and I’m pleased with the outcome, noticeably less mud did stick to the unit and very easy to clean up.
