The word we all dont want too here !!:mad-new: ROLLOVER !!! -- Wile out on the trail the other day (close to 20 miles from anywhere) flying down the trail having a good time it crossed my mind, what in the world would one person all alone do if he rolled his ranger over ! Well im not new to the off road world at all, but i have not seen any one here ask this question. (if i rollover my ranger can one man up-rite it?) Tips and tricks for use of a winch, story's from anyone that has experienced this with his ranger would be kinda cool to read. I have a winch on the rear and one on the front, but there not much use in a flopped over on your side ranger...But i have did it wile turned over on the side in a washout (huge ditch). lucky there was a big tree just over it too use the limbs. But i never have rolled over on flat ground and that was the first and last time. Can you upright one on flat ground wile laying on its side? Lets here some of them war story's:teapot: !!

Had a 2007 on its side on flat ground, mesquite brush to hook winch too. Have 2000# Warn on front, cheap 1500# harbor frieght on the rear, extra cable, straps, and 2 snatch blocks. Cheap insurance here in the desert! Slid Ranger on its side for several feet before grabbing and trying to flip upright. Got it back on its feet only to discover that the gas cap was about torn off. 1 mile rolling on left over fuel and 7 miles on my feet. Met up with another 4whlr about 200 yards from my truck and trailer. GO FIGURE! No injuries just a slow roll over coming out of a wash. Could have been worse without seat belts. The 2 snatch blocks used together can create a lot of pull, just very slow progress. This technique and the 2000# winch has gotten regular size truck unstuck from muddy graves. The UTV of course has to be tied off to something, second winch works nice.

Wow!! I guess this will have to be something else I get to buy!! I guess I was thinking the factory belts would be somewhat OK???? So now my next question is what good, easy to use belts that arnt too much of a circus to get in and out of? I will for sure be going faster than 25 mph every now and then!

I righted a 2012 ranger 800XP, all by myself, their was a woman inside freaking out, and was so scared she couldn't climb out, It was on a off camber bank, so I actually had to flip it over 90 degrees, took me a 3 or 4 tries but the more she freaked out the stronger I became, I guess, it is very hard to do when I finally turned it over, my legs and back felt like a wet noodle for a couple days,,,
