Thoughts On Painting Heat Shield

Any thoughts on painting the muffler heat shield with hi-temp stove paint? I would think since that paint works good on a wood stove it would surely hold up to the heat from a muffler wouldn't it?

Thanks for the replies think I'll it give it a shot I've got some stove paint left from a wood stove I painted.
Thanks Jerry glad to be back on here and glad to be back in a Ranger had a long dry spell lol. The main reason for wanting to paint the heat shield is because it sticks out like a sore thumb with it being shiny and pretty large. I appreciate all the feedback and special thanks to teshreve for the link, it's always nice to see where something has been done and see the end results :).
Thanks for the info I'll pick some of that up sounds like it'll perform better than the stove paint I've got.
