Hi guys, I have been here for a while now reading the forums and getting some great info but now I am looking for a little input. I am looking at changing the tires on my Ranger, I am currently running a set of 27" 589's which work great but seem to be wearing pretty quickly, I run mostly old hard packed gravel roads, some rocks, some light mud and snow along with some chipseal. My question is this...I am looking at either a set of SSR 27x9.50-14 (wt 41lbs) or a set of TSL Bias 28x8.50-14 (wt 31lbs), is there an advantage of one over the other? other than weight which is considerable? Now for the rims...which would be the better setup, same rims all the way around, which I think is the fronts using a 1" spacer on the rear? or go with the stock offset for both? Thanks in advance for any tips, advice or ideas.

Can't speak for the tires, but as far as the rims I prefer to run the same wheel/tire combo all the way around so that they can be rotated if needed. I'm not sure how the tire wear on the Rangers, but I know some of the ATV's I've had have considerably more wear on the rear. I'm a cheap a**, so for that reason I do what ever I can to get every last mile out of the tires.

Almost forgot... welcome the forum!
