I've been trying out some 26" zillas and I quite like them and thought everything was great for clearance but apparently I was wrong as I found out when cleaning my 570.

As you can see in the picture, it appears I've rubbed part of the end boot right through. I take it this means I need spacers if I want to continue using zillas? And also is this an urgent part I should replace immediately or can it wait?

Yes it needs to be replaced but it will still take it quite a while to wear out. You can still use it. That hasn't affected the strength in any way. What you have there is basically a heim joint with a cover on it. Those rubber covers aren't the best at keeping out mud anyway.

If you pack that rubber boot full of grease when you replace it that will help keep the water out.

Yeap, you need spacers, and need to replace that tie rod end. Use the ones from All Balls Racing.....they are cheaper and last longer. Once or twice a year, lift the boot and fill it half full (not completely full) of grease with a pencil tip attachment on your grease gun. If you do that, they will last almost indefinitely as long as you don't tear the boot.

Many thanks for advice everyone. Living in Canada, it's not cost effective to order parts from the states so I will likely have to resort to just oem parts, but again I appreciate the help. Thanks!

Hey Sledder, Kimpex and Motovan are the distributors in Canada for all balls products. Almost all sled and bike shops deal with these companies , I've had real good luck with any all balls parts that I have bought.

Thanks again everyone. Did some research and it looks like the tie rod end I need is All Balls51-1030 All Balls Racing 51-1030, but I might as well get 2 and replace both sides. Should be as simple as taking the oem ones out and replace it eh? I hear lots of good things online about All balls. Might have to replace some other parts too.

Also now that I've been enlightened into kimpex and that pretty much all my local dealers go thru them I fear I have just cost my bank account some serious damage! I reviewed their catalogue online and it's scary how much more stuff I want to do to my rig lol shipping costs from the states have deterred me from ordering certain products.

Finally got around to replacing my damaged tie rod end. Got the All Balls one, came to $35 Canadian plus tax through a local atv dealership (super fast shipping by the way).

It was pretty easy to replace once I found out the tie rod ends are on reverse thread lol. I think I did it all right, took the old one off and put the new one on, even used the same cotter pin.

The package only came with 1 end, so I just ordered a second tie rod end so that both sides are the same. Probably doesn't matter but you can tell these All Balls tie rod ends are better than stock.

Thanks for the help everyone

Yeah I just got 1" spacers on the front. They were about $100 Canadian for the pair. They look like aluminum donuts and just slide over the bolts and come with for nuts for the bolts on the spacers.

I'm using stock rims.

Lots of places. You can start by searching google, or pretty much any atv dealership.

The spacers I've seen come with studs. Just look them up online, a picture will make more sense than typing I can do!
