Finally, we have gotten 7" of new snow in the last 14 hours, still snowing, and will be for several more hours.

I have waited all winter for a day like this. Buying the new Boss plow needed justification. I live rural, country, farms and fields, with generous spacing between neighbors. I went out around 5:30 this morning, plowed mine and 5 neighbors drives, all are about 250' long. Pushing a pile of snow as big as my Ranger is impressive, and stacking it is a breeze. Anyone wondering if the Boss plow is good investment needs to call me. I am not a dealer, but I am a believer after years of pushing with a 52" ATV plow. The ease of install, durability, and results the 6'6" Boss Power V-XT deliver made my investment worth while.

John glad your getting to use that new plow now you can stop cry'n for this dam white stuff:sorrow:
Crying is a strong word. I was merely asking for it... and so many times it's said, be careful what you ask for. ( :

I'm sorry crying is a strong word how about ach'ing?
Ach'ing is a good word, cuz after eating that double stack Turkey burger at Bagger Daves last night I seemed to be holding that weight on, and as a result when I stepped out the back door to knock the drift away this morning I busted my azz on the deck, and my left wrist is a bit sore now. Is that indirectly connected to "Belly Achin" ?

We have 6 inches of snow today. It amazes me how quiet snow makes every thing.
I don't care if it makes more work for me to do things , I still love snow :fat:.

Well, I'd be playing dog games, as in HRC Hunt Tests, or training, or riding the ranger looking for snow.

I have the same plow and you are correct it is a amazing implement. I use the scoop mode about 85% of the time. Just wondering if you are the same way or if you prefer to angle every to the side.
I'm more 50/50 with the scoop and side angle. If it's wet, like this was (temp rising) I like to scoop it away from vehicles. Sometimes I run it all the way down and across the road to the bean field. I only get 1 or 2 good snows a year that make that worth my while. Other times (light snow 1-2") I'll just push it to the east side and let the west wind carry it away, keeps it from drifting back on my drive. I do many others drives, (8) some are paved, some are rock of various sizes. As long as the ground is frozen I often use the scoop on those, pushing as much into a pile where owner wants it, so as to not kick rock into the lawns. To me, paved is best, and I had mine done a few years ago.

Yeah I hear us. Mine is cement and I use scoop on driveway and on the parking pads I use a combination of angle and scoop. I have a tractor yet prefer the boss plow as it will stack the snow really high not as high of tractor but twice as quick to complete the job. We don't get much wet snows in NW ND yet the scope really let's you put the snow where you want when the winds you live in are variable and come from all directions.
