Looking to get the Polaris rear bumper part # 2878840 Does anyone know if this bumper or any bumpers will make a difference with towing a trailer and lifting the bed?

I had that same bumper on a former ranger and had no issue pulling a small trailer and/or log splitter.

I use the 2" reciever to tow with, not the bumper.

I should clarify, I use the 2" receiver for towing/pulling and the bumper does not interfere towing the trailer and/or log splitter.

I've been running this Polaris bumper since just after I bought my Ranger. With the homemade trailer I built, there are no towing issues. The bumper does hit my tires before the bed tilts all the way however. Not enough to cause a problem but it does limit travel somewhat.

I have this bumper on my 570FS with the stock tires and the bed tilts all the way without hitting.

I took the jack off the front of my trailer and have no issues with hauling things. I just use a small floor jack and block of wood if need but my trailer is aluminum so I can pick it up easily.

The bed doesn't hit even with my 27" tires. But the bumper will with 26" tires.
