I am interested in the full skids from Trail Armour but noticed there may be a fit issue when using factory nerf bars with this skid kit. Has anyone had to work around this? The TA product extends past the Ranger body about an inch and does not seem to provide any openings for the factory mounting braces of the factory nerf bars to go through. Any ideas or what did you guys do to combat this issue?

You'd have to trim the skid plate. The newer nerf bars kind of suck, only reason I put them on was to add some sort of rock protection.

I have to agree.

The Polaris nerf bars are not very sturdy, and they decrease your ground clearance. Also if you do damage the nerf bar, like landing on a rock or log, due to the design of the attachment pieces, you could damage your frame. Especially where the rear mounts, on the vertical frame support.
I would get my money back on the nerf bars and use it for something else.

The Trail Armor skids stick out the sides about an inch, it acts as your nerf bar.

UPDATE. Trail Armor does not modify or knew of the nerf issue until I sent pics. You cannot use factory Polaris OEM nerf bars with Trail Armor skids FYI.
