I have a 6x12 single axle trailer I haul my Ranger on. The tires are wearing out on the inside because the axle is either bent or never had the correct camber. Anyone have any recommendations where I can buy a good quality replacement axle?
I had the same problem when I bought a used enclosed trailer and the tire shop said it was because I had a bias tire on it put all new tires on and have not had any problems
Tires aren't the problem on this one. I put on new tires and new Timken wheel bearings. Still has the camber problem and wearing the tires on the inside.
Some alignment shops will do this, and yes they have to bend the axle. I have a friend in this business and although I've never had it done to a trailer he said they sometimes have to bend rear axles on some front wheel drive cars.
