There is an event being put together for ATV's and UTV's to drive across the Mackinaw Bridge where you cross from Michigan's Lower Peninsula into the Upper Peninsula (or vice versa depending on where you're from). October 3rd, 2015. The organizers are stating that registration could be open very soon. This has the potential to be a huge event. If you have an interest in taking part, get your hotel room early and keep watching for registration to open up. Below is the website and their Facebook information.

FIRST 1,000 ENTRIES RECEIVE A COMMEMORATIVE PATCH (currently about 100 short)


STARTING TIME (tentative)
7:00 a.m. Buses** leave from St. Ignace for staging area
9:00 a.m. MANDATORY Pre-Ride Meeting at staging area

LOCATION
St. Ignace, Michigan! ATVs will leave staging area and head north across the Mighty Mackinac Bridge, through downtown St. Ignace, and north to Little Bear East Arena.

VEHICLES PERMITTED
ATVs, Side-by-Sides, Off-Road Motorcycles. For other categories, please call 906-643-6950 to see if your vehicle type is permitted. ABSOLUTELY NO ARGOS, 3-WHEELERS, GOLF CARTS, ETC.

ENTRY FEES

ATV & Driver $35.00
Includes: Mackinac Bridge Fare, Security, Decal, Lunch (Chicken Breasts, Hot Dogs, Burgers, Baked Beans, Salads, Dessert & Beverage), Shuttle*, Busing**, Entertainment and Kewadin Casino Package (19 years and older).

Additional Rider (Regardless of Age) $25.00

REGISTRATION PACKETS
Registration packets will be available on Friday, October 2, from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Little Bear East Arena (275 Marquette Street). Bring your email confirmation to the staging area Saturday to receive your participant wristband, your packet will be available at Little Bear East Arena after the event.

*SHUTTLE
No need to drive once you arrive! The St. Ignace Events Committee provides participants with a FREE shuttle during the weekend in St. Ignace only. From Friday, October 2 at 5:00 p.m. to Sunday, October 4 at 4:00 p.m., the shuttle will bring you to Chamber member businesses including lodging, restaurants, bars, shops, etc.!!

**BUSES
Buses will be provided to transport participants from St. Ignace to staging area in Mackinaw City the morning of the crossing only.
