2020 full size 570 crew. I ran a fused 10ga power wire forward from the battery to the underhood bus bar to power dual horns with a heavy duty starter button to activate. On the same bus bar stud I installed an SAE two wire connector to allow connection of my trickle charger. Done this kind of thing on tractors, mowers, etc. Just curious if there is anything about the Ranger that makes this a bad idea. The aux power feed is not controlled by the ign switch.

I haven't dug into any of the electrical yet on mine, it sounds like your back feeding thru the buss bar back to the battery assuming that the "plugs" on the buss are isolated circuits should be ok. I would avoid any chance of power back feed to components by doing a direct connect battery to charger.

The "bus bar" on my model is old school as far as I can tell. Multiple independent studs. No fancy pulse bar style connections.
