I got a universal heated seat kit for Christmas for my 900 LE. The install was very straight forward and only took about 3 hours. Plowing snow just got better.

I would worry that those seat heaters aren't waterproof. My Ranger seems to be wet a lot, even here in Colorado.

I ride through a lot of mud holes, but I have never had an issue with the padding in my seats getting wet. I also made sure there won't be any water getting into any of the electrical connections. I guess we will see how things work out.
