I bought me a new Ranger and immediately swapped tires/wheels out on it. What are you guys doing with the stockers? Putting aside or selling? I find it hard to believe Polaris will not honor warranty work if the stickers are not there. My machine is stock except for 27" tires now. Thoughts?

I kept mine for warranty reasons. If something tears up ill swap my old a arms and throw my stockers back on. I'm not taking a chance after reading/hearing how polaris handles warranty claims

I ran the OEM Carlisles for 2 seasons until the "cap" started peeling off. I bought new tires then saved 1 of the fronts & got a rim to use as a spare. the other 3 are just taking up space in the corner.

I kept mine for spares. The Pitbull Rockers I run are within 1/4" of the same height as the stock tires. Going on trail rides I can carry a couple spares with me.

Before I got the Rockers I ran 26" Bighorns. I kept those too, like rev, mine are stacked in the corner. If I found the right person I'd sell them, everybody previously has offered way lower than what they're worth.

A friend of mine has a 2011 400 and wanted my stock aluminum wheels and 26" tires that came on mine so I sold them to him.

I actually purchased a set of steel stamped pull offs for my 570 and sitting in the garage as spares, and feel it's the best $200 spent on my ranger.

i have 2 sets of factory rims, and then my original tires and my executioners. I use my stockes (which are about junk now) for the middle of summer when we do a LOT or road riding. Keep my executioners for winter snow/mud use.

What are the stockers going for? Stickers are still on the tires and wheels and the only time the hit pavement was to get on trailer then to garage at home. I can't see a need for two sets like some of you.

I had the 25 inch Carlisle tires on my Yamaha Grizzly when I purchased it. They
were a poor imitation of a tire. I sold all 4 the following year for $10 ea. This
time I am going to swap them out for the 27 tires on my Grizzly. The Griz tires
are 5 years old now but a far better tire. The Carlisle tires will go on my Griz as
a new tire and selling point. The Griz buyer will think he is getting new tires and
a great deal. The 27 inch Mud Gear tires are an aggressive 589 type tire. I like
them very much, and will suit the Ranger well.

LOL on the bold. When we swapped the Carlisles for the Baja Crosses, the apprentice @ the garage (an ATVer) & I couldn't get over how soft the sidewalls were on the Carlisles. You'd think they were drag racing slicks.

A Goodyear Eagle doing a pretty good impression of a Carlisle 489:

I posted mine on Craigslist for $700. Sold in two days for $650 which helped offset the cost of the new set.

I'm still using the stock tires. 2 years!

later this winter I'm probably going to swap to car style snow tires or something. maybe buy a second set of PXTs/Rims to swap them out for winter use.
How many miles on the tires? Mine were 2 years old when they started to delaminate.

I sold my "nearly new" midsize take off steel wheels and tires on Craigs list for $300. It worked well for me and the buyer. I didnt need them any more and he had a worn out set of rubber on his Sportsman.
