Since we all know that Polaris is reading, lets get a civilized discussion of what you would like to see changed.

-Updated clutch assembly that wont come loose.
-Emergency brake, it is just too hard to shift out of park it your on any sort of incline.
-Make the nets totally removable, EASILY, when i am at home it is a major hassle to climb over them or take them loose and have the flop around.
-A Lock and ride Bag trail bag accessory. I made my own, but it would be nice to see.

Over all Polaris had a winner with the RZR and I'm sure it will change the UTV/ATV Industry. I can't tell you how well it was received on the trails.

This may be off topic but i rode yesterday pretty hard on both pavement and dirt at high mph and i never had my clutch cut loose, i'm now nearing 18hrs of run time, could your clutch be an isolated issue? I even tried doin 50 then backing off it hard to try to break it and notta. but ya make the nets easily removable i like that one.

Yes, I agree, let's not assume the clutch is a major issue, since you seem to be the only one with the issue that I can verify. The throttle abruptness I am keeping an eye on, although it may only need to be broken in.

My suggestion for a change is that I agree the nets need to be removable easily , and I would like some sort of easily accessible storage (glovebox/console) other than the hood storage.

Yeah...I like the storage idea as well. The glovebox of my standard Ranger is stuffed full of things. I'll most likely fabricate something.

you shouldn't need to use thumb screws or the torx headed bolts. If you just pull up on it pretty hard it will come off, is just uses a rubber grommet to push through.

Like Cutterman said, you just pull up on the hood and it pops off.

I would like to see a stiffer throttle like that on the Rhi..(oops, almost said it.)

I know Polaris stated the RZR does not have an engine brake. But the clutch continues to hold the belt until the speed drops to about 5-10 mph. All of which, drastically and rapidly slows the speed.

A glove box is a must. I am planning on fabricating a metal box that will fit on the perforated plate that lies between the seatbelt buckles. A box that will accomodate gloves and or a camera.

And a fix for the stiff position of "park" when parked on an incline. As for the netting, no big deal. If they become too cumbersome, I will remove them. Try unlatching them from the front. They easily fold down out of the way.

You don't have to take the screws out. I sprayed the rubber gromlets and the metal pins with spray silicone and the hood comes off much better.

I had sprayed some armorall on them and yes that did work.I still wouldn't want to be out in the middle of nowhere after riding in dusty sand and try to pull it open after the lube dried out. You better carry a torx head driver out side of the storage compartment just in case.
I also found that if you turned the gromets over the hood comes off much easier because of the inside taper of the gromet.
The best fix for them to do would be to taper both sides of the pin that goes into the gromet or make it a ball end. That would make it much easier to pull through flat underside of the gromet.

On the park brake issue. Get Larry of EZ-Pull to fab up something. His 05-07 Ranger mod is quality that should be OEM.

Mark - The EZ-Pull is a bolt-on mod that Larry fabricats for the 05-07 full size Rangers. The pull handle uses the unused left lever slot on the dash. EZ-Pull is one of our sponsors and many have added this mod. He has a web site explaining the features. I have heard only good things about it and have had mine almost a year and it is fantastic.. With his know-how he might be able to make a mod to fit the RZR.

I second the motion on the stiffer throttle cable, I put about 65 miles on it this weekend in the dry river bed where we ride a bunch. When running wide open or at least accelerating it is great but when you are just trying to maintain speed or slightly slow down it really gets jerky and makes it sound like the thing has an engine problem. Other than that I can't say enough good about the RZR!!!! I traded my Predator off to be able to afford it and I am not sorry I did it in any way. I would also be interested in buying some sort of a park brake mod.
