go to www.bikemanperformance.com , you will find many more mods there. Also, check out the "Important Parts Info for Rangers" stick on the top of the "Ranger Technical and Mod Section" for many more ideas.

Sorry, I missed that you have the 500cc. I'm sure you can get a better air filter for it. On the 500cc ranger's, is the engine the same as in the SPortsman, if so, you could try looking for sportsman 500 mods. Sorry I can't be of more help, but I know mostly about the XP's.

That would help some .This type of controller is most useful when you have other mods like a cam, air filter, exhaust etc. Like Paul said,Researching anything done to the 500 EFI quads is a good idea, as well as any clutch mods like bikemans clutch.

Dale at Bikemans is coming out with a lot of stuff for the 500 shortly. You can put the Sportsman cam in, the engines are the same. I am not sure if the controllers are the same. I would wait for Dale to come out with some stuff and you will know for sure that it will work. The 500 is a tried and proven performer and it should be no problem to get 38 hp or better out of it.

Bound4Dirt, In are first series of dyno tests with our pipe and intake mods we have taken the stock 500 motor from 32hp with 29 foot pounds of torque up to 39hp with 33 foot pounds of torque. All this was done with full exhaust and intake modification. Now its back to the dyno to test the cams with fuel controller, and see which ones work the best. I will post the results when we are done. Thanks Dale!
